About MDIR

"Mad Duck Ice Rods" all started as a high school project, but quickly grew into a family passion. We wanted to make a rod that was comfortable to use all day and through 9 years of R&D we came up with something that is so much more than that. Every rod we build is built right here in Minnesota. Our handles are built in the metro and our rods are built in northern Minnesota!
